Infinity RS-6000 Custom Vintage Speakers Pair New Cabinets Sansui Woofers
TechnoGold Audio & Vintage presents an exclusive custom pair of Infinity RS-6000 three-way loudspeakers, combining vintage Infinity heritage with newly built cabinets and Sansui bass drivers.
Based on the Infinity Reference Standard RS-6000 from 1988, this pair offers a distinctive interpretation of a classic loudspeaker. These are custom-modified speakers, with replacement enclosures and woofers clearly distinguishing them from the original factory configuration.
The new cabinets give these speakers an elegant vintage appearance, making them an attractive addition to a carefully selected classic Hi-Fi system.
Each cabinet houses a Sansui W-154 woofer, listed as a 10-inch driver, bringing a distinctive bass section to this exclusive combination of Infinity and Sansui components.
Planar magnetic tweeters reproduce the high frequencies, while Polydome midrange drivers handle the vocal range. This three-way arrangement brings together technologies closely associated with Infinity’s vintage loudspeaker designs.
The speakers have been restored, checked and tested by our specialist technical department. They are in excellent cosmetic condition and perfect working order, ready to be enjoyed by their next owner.
The existing product listing specifies 100W RMS, a nominal impedance of 6 ohms and recommended amplifier power of 35–100 watts per channel. These are supplied as reference figures; independently measured specifications for the modified configuration are not available.
Each cabinet measures approximately 527 × 380 × 260 mm (H × W × D) and weighs approximately 20 kg. The sale is for the complete pair.
These are passive loudspeakers and require a suitable external amplifier. No mains connection or voltage converter is needed, making them suitable for use in audio systems worldwide.
Worldwide shipping is available, with careful protective packaging appropriate to the size and weight of these speakers. Please review the photographs, which form part of the description and show the actual pair offered for sale.
