COLLECTOR'S RARITY NOTE: THE ULTIMATE "1st STATE" ANOMALY

While partial misprints of Phenomenon appear on the market (copies with just one or two typos), it is exceptionally rare to find a complete multi-error package from the absolute first few hours of production before any corrections were made at the plant [r1784648].

Verified by the A-2U / B-2U KIP matrix set and the incredibly early EMI factory "GD" stamper code (confirming this copy came off Stamper Number 10), this copy features the full tier of 7 legendary 1974 factory errors simultaneously [r1784648]:

• Error 1 - Double "Oh My" Label Error: Both the Side A and Side B paper labels mistakenly list Track 1 as "Oh My" [r1784648].

• Error 2 - Swapped Audio Tracks: Side A physically plays "Oh My" as Track 1, while Side B physically plays "Too Young to Know" [r1784648].

• Error 3 - Sleeve Title Typo: Back cover features the famous text error spelling Track 1 as "TOO YOUNG TO NO" instead of "Know" [r1784648].

• Error 4 - "Shenker" Name Misspelling: Side A track credits feature the early typo missing the "c" in Michael Schenker's name [r1784648].

• Error 5 - "Pru Music" Publishing Typo: Track 3 on Side B ("Built for Comfort") credits the publisher as "Pru Music" instead of the correct spelling, "Pras Music" [r1784648].

• Error 6 - Barn Publishing Over-Credit: Side A mistakenly includes "Barn Publishing Ltd." in the main publisher line, a layout mistake corrected on subsequent runs.

• Error 7 - "Mick Roback" Engineer Typo: The credit block on the back cover misprints mixing engineer Mick Bobak's last name as "Mick Roback".

🔍 HONEST CONDITION & PLAY-TESTING REPORT

To maintain total transparency this record has been fully play-tested:

• Vinyl (Media Condition): Good Plus (G+) / Very Good Minus (VG-)

The vinyl retains a beautiful, glossy shine, but some scratches are present.

Crucial Playback Note: The needle physically jumps/skips briefly during the first track on Side A and the first track on Side B. Aside from those initial jumps on Track 1, tracks 2 through 5 on both sides (including "Doctor Doctor" and "Rock Bottom") play completely smoothly, cleanly, and sound fantastic with the deep, powerful dynamic range expected from a low-number stamper plate.

• Sleeve (Jacket Condition): Very Good (VG)

The iconic Hipgnosis front cover artwork is incredibly vibrant with excellent color preservation. The seams have naturally come unglued due to age-related drying, but the cardboard edges remain straight and completely untorn with no paper loss.

• Inner Sleeve: Includes the original, period-correct 1974 UK 'Handling & Playing' paper inner sleeve with the star graphics [r1784648].
