Offered today from the Oregon Washington Railroad Navigation Co. is an Adlake Reliable lantern with a clear unmarked cracked Dietz Globe. The frame is marked with the railroad letters "O.W.R.R.N. CO.". The top of the dome is marked, "Adlake Reliable, The Adams & Westlake Company, New York Chicago". The lantern also has a pot. The lantern is in fair condition no holes, there is rust on the top of the dome, and part of the Adams & Westlake Company is hard to read, and the patent dates on the lid are also hard to read, the pot is frozen in the frame, and there is a lot of rust on the top of the pot. The railroad letters have a stronger marking and are easier to read (see all photos showing condition). The globe is a tall clear globe with a crack running from top to middle of the globe, there are also flea bite chips on the top and bottom rim. The globe is marked with the manufacturer's name, "Dietz 39 RR Dietz Vulcan New York, USA". I am not sure that this is the correct globe for this lantern but it does fit. Winning bidder pays $18.95 shipping within the U.S. Thanks for bidding and good luck.
