About Lambswool - Lambswool is the wool collected from the first shearing of a sheep at around seven months old and is very fine and soft to touch. Sheep need to be sheared each spring for their own health, making wool entirely natural.

Caring for your Lambswool garment

Wool contains natural properties that deter dirt, odours and moisture, and as such, should be cleaned less often than other textiles. Lambswool items should be aired between wears to minimise having to dry clean or wash it.

Ideally Lambswool items should be dry cleaned but it is possible to wash it with extra care.  Lambswool items should not be washed in a washing machine as this will cause the fabric to shrink and lose its shape.  Instead, if you decide to wash your item, it is recommended that extra care be taken to handwash your wool garments with a specialised detergent and then laid flat on a rack to dry.  Wet wool can be very heavy and lifting it without support or hanging it to dry will cause loss of shape.

Dry clean only.
