VINTAGE KENYAN Hand Carved wooden Letter Opener - Buffalo possibly

A very nice and quite long, carved wooden letter opener. I think the animal atop it is a Buffalo, judging by the ears / horns detail.

Its 300mm long or 12" and made of a two tone wood. This would be the junction of heartwood and sapwood. I could not say the species however,  but pretty obviously ... a Kenyan tree.

I have another almost identical but a different animal, so check other listings if you like.
