Dieses Angebot umfasst das Hameg HM8001-2 Dual Mainrame Grundgerät bestückt mit einem HM8030-6 Funktionsgenerator und einem HM8021-4 1.6GHz Frequenzzähler. Also alle 3 Geräte zusammen als Paket in der zuletzt produzierten weißen Serie (Serie 8). Die Kunststoffteile sind hier weiss, statt wie beim Vorgänger grau.

Das Grundgerät HM8001 ist die netzbetriebene Basiseinheit für das HAMEG HM8000-Serie Modularsystem. Es übernimmt die Stromversorgung von bis zu 2 Modulen. Hierfür stehen insgesamt 8 voneinander unabhängige und erdfreie Spannungen zur Verfügung. Für die Versorgung beider Module sind max. 36 Watt entnehmbar. Normal verbraucht jedes Modul weniger als 12 Watt. Nur das Netzgerät HM8040 ist für eine max. Ausgangsleistung von 25 Watt ausgelegt und sollte mit maximaler Last nicht zusammen mit einem weiteren HM8040 in einem Grundgerät betrieben werden.

Die mechanische Stabilität der Grundgeräte erlaubt es ohne Probleme bis zu 5 Einheiten übereinander zu stapeln. Damit wird auf engstem Raum ein Maximum an Messmöglichkeiten geboten.

The HM8001 basic device is the mains-operated base unit for the HAMEG HM8000 series modular system. It supplies power to up to 2 modules. A total of 8 independent and floating voltages are available for this. A maximum of 36 watts can be used to supply both modules. Each module normally consumes less than 12 watts. Only the HM8040 power supply is designed for a maximum output power of 25 watts and should not be operated with a further HM8040 in a basic device at maximum load.

The mechanical stability of the basic devices allows up to 5 units to be stacked on top of each other without any problems. This offers a maximum of measurement options in the smallest of spaces.
