Whimsical vintage Max Factor gold-tone figural lip-gloss pendant featuring a detailed squirrel holding a flower. The squirrel has a large curled tail, textured fur and floral accents, antiqued detailing, and sparkling blue rhinestone eyes.
The hinged body opens to reveal the remaining original lip gloss and is marked MAX FACTOR inside a rectangle. The strong spring hinge opens and closes securely. An integrated bail and jump ring allow the compact to be worn as a pendant. It is shown with a replacement gold-tone chain; the chain is not original to the piece.
The pendant measures approximately 1 3/8 inches tall including the jump ring (1 1/8 inches for the squirrel alone), 1 inch wide, and weighs 0.8 oz.
Preowned vintage condition with age-related finish wear and patina. The darkened recessed areas appear to be intentional antiquing that highlights the detailed design.
