Hold the pick-up tool in your hand and align it with the center of the workpiece you wish to move. Gently place it on the workpiece, making sure the surface of the magnet is parallel to the surface of the workpiece, with no angle. Once the workpiece is securely held, lift it by hand and move it to the desired location. Press the handle to allow the ejector pin and release rod to separate the magnet from the workpiece, then snap the pick-up tool to the side and remove it from the workpiece. During transport, keep the workpiece a s parallel to the ground as possible and avoid tilting it at steep angles to prevent it from falling.
