LARGE ORIGINAL AIRBRUSH SCI-FI ARTWORK dated 1977 by EDWARD BLAIR WILKINS - Signed
A Beautiful, original, airbrushed Sci-Fi painting by Edward Blair Wilkins aka 'Blair' featuring humanoid stylized mechanical robot's possibly used for Stewart Cowley's Terran Trade books.
Sadly this large piece has not been stored well, so has damage and foxing ( see photos ) but would still look amazing framed and on display.
Due to Blair's nature, most of his artwork were gift's to friends and family but I am very keen for Blair's artwork to be recognised and admired by people who love the sci fi genre and his work, and will be putting a few more of his works on here over the coming month's.
Blair originated from Liverpool and in the 1970's/80's worked in Germany creating front covers for science fiction books for the like of Arthur C Clarke, Perry Rhodan, Issac Asimov, Robert Silverberg and many many more...
He worked alongside many sci fi artist's including Sci Fi artist Eddie Jones whom he said he truly admired.
Please see the photo's for condition and details of the artwork.
This particular piece has the 'Edward Blair Wilkins 1977' signature at the bottom right (See photos.)
Image size = 48cm x 34 cm
