This motor & gearbox unit has been assembled, but has never been installed in a plane.
Typically used with 6 to 8 cell Ni-Cads/NiMh batteries, or 2S to 3S LiPo/LiFe (With appropriate care in propeller selection for 3S use)
This geared power unit is typically suited to 'Park-flier' electric planes and smaller gliders and remains a useful unit for budget fliers & 'Retro' enthusiasts.
Ideal for a retro project, or replicating models from that period or for replacement parts to an existing model fitted with a similar unit. .

The gearbox is secured to the motor using the standard mounting holes on the motor front casing. The gearbox has an offset output shaft that has a moulded boss on the output gear for propeller mounting and a self tapping screw for propeller retention.
