1910 LARGE ANTIQUE SHIP'S BRASS ANEROID BULKHEAD BAROMETER - F SMITH & SON SOUTHAMPTON

Circa 1910 to 1920 large ship's aneroid baraometer by F.Smith & Son, Southampton.  Originally for use aboard a ship,  boat or yacht.

Heavy brass case with thick bevelled glass, blued steel indicator and gilt metal pointer.  Hinged front with screw retainer. Printed metal dial.  Four screw holes for bulkhead fixing.

In good antique condition,  unpolished as found,  minor marks or wear from age and use.  This is in working order,  although if to be used for forecasting should be serviced and set / calibrated for local area.

Rear diameter 18.6cm. 1.34kg.  Approx.
