Warm cognac glass beads with a rich “goldstone” sparkle give this necklace that classic Italian/Venetian art-glass look. The beads feature a beautiful aventurine style (tiny copper-like flecks suspended in glass), a technique associated with Venetian/Murano glassmaking traditions.

A beautiful mid-century style strand that reads elegant by day and glowy under evening light.

Details:
Length: 16.25"
Weight: 2 oz
Beads: round clear glass with cognac tones and aventurine-like copper sparkle
Accent beads: small clear and dark brown spacers
Clasp: screw barrel clasp
Estimated age: mid-century to early late-20th century, circa 1950s–1970s

CONDITION: VERY GOOD
(Poor-->Fair-->Good-->Very Good-->Excellent-->Mint - See Below):
Light age-appropriate wear to the beads and spacers with minor surface marks visible on close inspection. The screw barrel clasp shows patina/finish wear consistent with age. There are a couple of visible string/cord ends near terminal beads, but the necklace presents beautifully when worn and the clasp functions as intended.

I aim to please, and describe every item to the best of my ability. But please note that my vintage items often received frequent use back in their day, so may show visible signs of wear and age. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way, as I treasure those marks of the past.
