From the personal archive of photographer Ray Palmer famous for his work with rock magazine Kerrang. From 1981-1996 he photographed many of the artists and bands featured and was the photographer behind the "Ladykillers" series. We purchased the vast majority of his personal archive including photos, polaroid's, transparencies, negatives, signed items and tear sheets. He was an immense talent, well respected and in the pre-digital world where photoshoots were very expensive, from what we have seen, he rarely took a bad shot.
- printed on reversal film these positive images produce colour transparencies that were used in commercial photography until the mid-1990s when digital media gradually replaced them. They were preferred for publication because of the film's higher contrast and resolution, the colours are more vibrant with a finer grain and better resolution and sharpness compared to traditional negative films. This listing is for the original physical photographic item only. No copyright, licence, or reproduction rights are included or implied. The sale is made under the first‑sale doctrine, which permits the resale of lawfully owned physical media. All copyright remains with the original photographer or rights holder.

We Describe Every Fault As Honestly As Possible
We offer a huge variety of items and grading can be very subjective, we describe the condition as accurately as possible and take photos which form part of the description. A plus or a minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
Mint: Item is in the same condition as the day it was made.
Near Mint: Item is in "never-used" condition and has been carefully preserved since it was produced. The item should appear to be in superb, nearly perfect condition.
Very Good: A well cared-for item that shows minor condition issues around the borders, such as pinholes, small creases, soft corners, or light discoloration.
Good: Item shows visible wear from handling, such as creases and small tears. It is physically worn, but is still considered collectible.
Acceptable: Item is fairly worn, showing significant aesthetic issues. Contains notable flaws and is possibly missing pieces.
Occasionally we may find that an item is in less than the advertised condition, if that occurs you will be contacted prior to the shipping of your order.
You can be assured of only ever receiving the genuine articles, packaged and shipped so that they arrive in perfect condition.
