Collection of six vintage engineering / machinist’s reamers, predominantly by Henry Rossell & Co Ltd of Sheffield, together with a Morse taper reducing sleeve.

A good group of genuine old British workshop cutting tools, including five Rossell Victory / Super Victory reamers and one Balfour Capital HSS spiral-fluted reamer.

The Rossell tools carry a mixture of Victory, Super Victory, HSS / High Speed and Henry Rossell & Co Ltd Sheffield markings.

The lot comprises:

* Rossell Super Victory HSS – long straight-fluted reamer, size marking appears to be 5/8”
* Rossell Super Victory HSS – 5/8”, with extended/piloted end
* Rossell Victory HSS – marked “16” and 11/16”
* Henry Rossell & Co Ltd Sheffield Victory High Speed Super – 11/16”
* Rossell Victory – 7/16”
* Balfour Capital HSS – spiral-fluted reamer, numbers not clear
* Morse taper reducing/adaptor sleeve, marked 2–3

The taper sleeve was found fitted to one of the Rossell tools and is included with the group.

These came together from an old mechanic/engineer’s toolbox containing a large quantity of period British and American engineering equipment.

A useful group for a machinist, model engineer, vintage-tool collector or anyone looking for traditional British-made workshop tooling.

Condition:
All are vintage used workshop tools with age-related marks, staining, surface oxidation and evidence of previous use.

They have not been tested for cutting accuracy or dimensional tolerance, and no attempt has been made to sharpen, restore or aggressively clean the cutting edges.
