Optics: The optics are clean and clear of scratches, marks, fungus or haze.

Zoom: The zoom turns smoothly through the entire range.

Autofocus: Fast and sharp.

Manual focus: Turns smoothly through the entire range.

Grips: Are clean, feel fresh and securely in place.

Aperture: Clean with no sign of oil or corrosion.

Mount: Clean with very little sign of use.
