    The Sinar Adjustable Bellows Hood Mask II (often referred to as the Sinar Adjustable Compendium Mask, item number 533.21 or 23-4025) is a high-precision accessory for Sinar’s modular large-format system. It serves primarily as an adjustable compendium mask to protect against stray light and to precisely define the image field.

    Precise light masking: The system utilises four micrometre-controlled curtains with a millimetre scale. This allows the image area to be precisely defined in order to block extreme peripheral or stray light, which significantly improves colour saturation and image contrast.
    Multiple exposures & format masking: In addition to its function as a stray light shield, the precise, infinitely variable adjustment of the four masks allows parts of the image to be neatly masked off, making it easy to achieve multiple exposures on the same film format.
    Mounting: The module measures 215 x 215 x 23 mm and weighs approximately 329 grams. It is usually mounted on a Sinar multi-purpose stand or a filter holder in front of the lens and combined with a universal bellows. It can be rotated to accommodate portrait and landscape orientations.
