Ghosts #71 — DC Comics (1978) — Bronze Age horror anthology

Grade: NM 9.4 (seller-graded, raw copy)  |  Era: Bronze Age (1970–83)  |  Format: Anthology, cover price $0.40

Why collectors want this issue

• First 40-cent cover price issue of Ghosts — a price-break issue, the kind collectors specifically hunt.
• Luis Dominguez cover, one of the strongest horror-cover artists of DC's Bronze Age line.
• Complete-story anthology: "The Haunted Undertaker!" drawn by Bill Draut, "The Specter from 1 Million B.C.!" by Ken Landgraf and Danny Bulanadi, plus more.
• Opens with the one-page "Ghosts and the Supernatural" intro written by editor Murray Boltinoff with art by E. R. Cruz.
• High-grade raw copy of a late-1970s DC horror book — these were read hard and are hard to find sharp.
