Citroen Saxo VTS project for sale , year 2000 phase 2 with approx 80 K miles on the clock . Bought this green VTS as a project to restore with my son , once stripped down it was apparent that this car was heavily rusted in all the usual places and also had front end accident damage , at the same time i saw a gold VTR shell for sale in excellent condition , it had been hit in the door and written off but was in the best condition of any Saxo i have seen so i bought it with a view to reshelling the green one into it . The green Saxo was scrapped but not on the log book and the chassis plates etc kept . I started refurbishing all of the suspension , nuts and bolts , brackets etc and now i have boxes and boxes of new , replated , blasted and etch primed , repainted , powder coated etc parts . There is every part to finish the car except for tyres and fluids . I have taken loads more pictures but can only list 24 , can send more if requested . Rear beam has been refurbished after blasting , etch primer and paint . New hubs , discs and Bilstein B4's fitted . Front struts blasted , etch primed , painted and built up with new B4 inserts , new wheel bearings , hubs springs and top mounts . I have currently refitted the engine and box so i can check the fit of the new exhaust and cat that i have bought for it . Comes with 5 VTS alloys that need a refurb - no tyres , will be rolling on steels , i have fitted new rear hubs and new Mintex discs all round so i can fit the steels . Seats are vgc and have been bagged up in my loft for years . Loads of new parts and some which are hard to find like one new exterior window scraper , a replacement std steering wheel with no 'twist' in the covering , pair of boxed Lucas headlamps etc , new wishbones , track rod ends , drop links , Pioneer speakers F + R . Full interior trim , carpet , looms , exterior trim panels etc from the VTS plus loads of extras that i picked up over the last few years while gathering parts . All wheel arch brackets powder coated and hundreds of new clips etc for trims . Rust free sunroof and frame . Car was sorned 25/01/22 and has been in my garage ever since . This is a complete car stripped down , its such a solid shell it would be ideal for a restoration project , race car build or whatever you want to do with it . Car in in Cheshunt North of London , will need to be trailered away and you will need a large van for the enormous amount of parts that come with it . Price for everything is £1600 , you could easily spend that on welding new panels into a rusty Saxo and i have certainly spent a lot more on everything that's included .
