Bulova ladies' Art Deco wristwatch, circa 1928, case serial approximately 8317240, manual-wind movement, ornate cushion/tonneau case, 10K gold-filled. This is not a pristine example, but one that was clearly worn in the mid1900s.
The case is quite distinctive. It has:
-
a small cushion/tonneau-shaped case
-
elaborate Art Deco engraved/ornamental shoulders
-
a combination of gold-colored and silvery/white-metal decoration
-
an unusually decorative bracelet
-
Arabic numerals around the dial
-
a manual-winding crown
- two stones that from the sparkle may be diamonds
-
what appears to be a Bulova-signed dial
-
a very small ladies' "cocktail/dress" watch configuration
I have not tried to open the case or clean the watch. I have wound it and it is working--not sure how accurately.
