The grain is unmistakable: hair follicles growing in groups of three leave a pitted texture no other leather has and no embossing convincingly imitates. It is exceptionally soft from the first wear, naturally breathable, and it moulds to the hand rather than stiffening. Cut close for grip and feel at the wheel, with the tactile sensitivity that only peccary gives. The two-tone reads as considered rather than showy, and suits a classic car as readily as a modern one. Each pair is hand-cut and hand-sewn in our workshop in Târgu Mureș, Transylvania.
