This is a superb antique Chinese Silk hand Embroidered Lotus 5" pair of Shoes - For Bound Feet - Late Qing Period with Wan Motif of the time - signifying good luck and countless blessings to the wearer.  Dated to the late 19th early 20th century, when the practice of binding ladies' feet was outlawed.
