This is a charming vintage oval pill or trinket box.

The hinged lid features a beautiful, smooth oval cabochon made of a pale light-green natural stone—resembling green onyx or alabaster. The stone is securely set within a beautiful classic rope-twist bezel.

The silver-toned metal body is detailed with  ornate scroll work and floral engravings wrapper around the perimeter. It features a working rear hinge and tight-closing front snap.
