This is an antique Art Nouveau sterling silver locket with a raised portrait of a maiden.

This has a snap fastening and is hallmarked in the back and inside, is stamped with the partial word "sterling", which does seem to worn down a little over time.

As this is over 100 years old, there are some flaws to it, such as the tranishing on the inside and a little on the back- but will probably be easily sorted with a professional clean.

On the front, near her nose, it does feel like the metal is a little indented.

This measures approximately 1/2" wide and 1" long and weighs approximately 11.1g.

Apart from the above mentioned flaws, this is in stunning condition.
