A very attractive mid-century Rodania with a warm cream dial, applied gold-tone Arabic numerals and markers, centre seconds and Incabloc shock protection.

The watch is powered by a Swiss A. Schild calibre AS 1187-2 17 jewel manual wind movement.

The silver-tone case measures approximately 30mm across excluding the crown x 38mm lug-to-lug. The caseback is marked Aquatite / Denisteel Back / Case Made in England, with reference/number 96146.

Fitted with a brown leather strap suitable for a wrists of up to 18cm maximum.

As expected from a watch of this age, there is visible cosmetic wear including marks and wear to the case, ageing/patina to the dial, hands and luminous material, and general surface wear. Please study the photographs carefully as these form an important part of the description.

A lovely wearable example of a mid-century Swiss mechanical watch and, particularly pleasingly, still producing very strong movement readings some 70+ years later.
