These are two ORIGINAL and authentic Unix Posters printed by UNITECH in 1986 and 1990. There were three in the series, but I only was able to get two of them when they first came out. I am the original owner. These were on my inside office, so they were not exposed to sunlight.
They do have thumbtack holes in the corners, and there are a few places where the edges are rough. I took pictures of all of those spots. Otherwise they are in very good condition. If you frame them and put a matte around them they would look perfect.
The Unix Magic poster is a classic with dozens of visual puns hidden in the design. Not only does it reference the classic tools like awk, troff, C, tar, diff, uucp, and of course su - there are other references to thread, spool, leak, cat, reap, and more. It's great fun to find all of them. There are more than 40 hidden in the poster.
In addition, I have the Unix Feud poster with references to POSIX, X/OPEN etc.
Gary Overacre created these posters and they were distributed at USENIX conferences, or available by special request.
I've stored these in a poster tube and will ship them the same way.
