Original 1972 Soviet basketball program issued in Kiev, Ukrainian SSR, for international basketball games involving the United States, USSR and Ukrainian SSR national teams.

The program was produced for two international games held at the Palace of Sports in Kiev:

April 25, 1972 – USA National Team vs USSR Club Selection

April 26, 1972 – USA National Team vs Ukrainian SSR

The program contains historical background on previous USA–USSR and USA–Ukrainian SSR basketball meetings, together with detailed team rosters.

The USA roster includes players' names, ages and heights, as well as coaches Floyd Davis and Sid Filan.

Separate rosters are provided for the USSR club selection and the Ukrainian SSR team, including players from CSKA Moscow, Spartak Leningrad, Stroitel Kiev, SKA Kiev and other leading Soviet basketball clubs.

An especially interesting historical detail is the discussion of earlier meetings between American and Ukrainian basketball players in 1961, 1964 and 1970, including the recorded results.

The program was officially issued under the USSR Basketball Federation and the Kiev Palace of Sports.

The printing information on the reverse is dated April 21, 1972 and records a very small print run of only 2,000 copies.
