Vintage Italian Florentine Decorative Tray | Gold Gilt | Embossed Baroque/Rococo Design | 13" x 10"

Beautiful vintage Italian Florentine-style decorative tray featuring an elaborate raised and embossed design with scrolling foliage, floral motifs, ornate borders and a distinctive scalloped edge.

The tray has a gorgeous aged gold and silver-tone painted/gilt finish that gives the piece a wonderfully dimensional, antique-looking appearance. The elaborate symmetrical scrollwork is especially striking.

The tray is approximately 13" x 10" and has a substantial molded construction. It appears to be made from wood or a lightweight wood/composite material with a painted and gilded finish. I have not attempted to strip or alter the original finish.

The back has a circular maker/manufacturer mark, photographed in detail. The mark appears to contain Italian/Firenze-related wording, although portions are worn and difficult to decipher, so I am not making a specific manufacturer attribution.

There are areas of finish wear, discoloration, patina, small scratches and imperfections throughout, particularly on the underside. The finish is intentionally left in its aged condition.
