ZIP THE MONKEY. HOWDY DOODY SHOW. 1950'S STUFFED TOY. I HAD ONE!! HOW ABOUT YOU?
Acquired many years ago is this vintage Zip the monkey from the Howdy Doody Show. Made by the Rushton Company in the 1950’s.
Rubber face and ears are still intact. 2 Rubber hands look good. Comes with no clothes. Shoes have Ruston stamped on the bottoms. There is tear that needs sewing under his face and a repair needed in crotch seam– see photos.
I feel like he is content with his "state of being". I’ve had him for many years and feel he's happy with his longevity.
Appears to be a solid sound doll structurally. Measures about 15 inches tall.
Offered in "as is" condition. Photos are part of the description – see all photos and details. Please use the photo enlarger tool in eBay to see the great details.
Please enlarge and examine the pictures. Let me know if you have any questions.

You're bidding on the following item:
Zip, Stuffed Animal. (I made no repair to this monkey. 2 hands. Also a couple stitches will need to be sewn onto him where they come together on his neck and crotch. He still looks pretty good for 70 years old)
Chip, Stuffed Young Animal. (I made no repair to this monkey. Only the face is rubber. Still appears furry. Nice yellow shirt that says”CHIP”. He still looks pretty good for 70 years old)
