Thes cufflinks belonged to my dad. Dad worked for the post office for over 30 years. Stated as a mail carrier. Went to war. Returned to the post office after his tour of duty. Dad worked his way up the ladder from mail carrier walking a route in those days to Postmaster. Dad retired in 1979.
