Vintage Singer 185K sewing machine, made in Great Britain at Singer’s Kilbowie factory in Scotland.
Serial number K9884782.
A lovely, substantial vintage all-metal machine with its original wooden carrying case. Generally good original condition for its age, with some expected cosmetic marks, dust and signs of use.
The motor runs, but the machine would benefit from a light service, cleaning and lubrication before regular use. I have therefore not described it as fully serviced or ready for immediate sewing.
Includes the original case and foot pedal as shown in the photographs.
Ideal for someone looking for a quality vintage Singer, collector, or anyone who enjoys restoring and using old mechanical sewing machines.
