This antique Chinese silk festival hat is really just an incredible and fascinating piece of Chinese history.

The tiger has bulbous eyes and is bearing his teeth to ensure that the evil spirits are afraid and the child is well protected.

Good used condition overall, minor marks and some loosening of the cotton band in the inside, the tail does not stand straight alone and there are a couple of visible moth holes in the silk.
