AMS1117 is a three‑terminal low‑dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator. It comes in multiple output variants: 1.2V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5.0V and adjustable output. Its dropout voltage is only 1.2V at 1A load current. With excellent performance and high cost‑efficiency, it is suitable for various electronic devices.

BL1117 (Compatible Replacement)
BL1117 is a series of three‑terminal low‑dropout regulators. Its dropout voltage is 1.3V under 1A load current. Compared with competing devices of 5mA quiescent current, BL1117 features a very low typical quiescent current of 2mA. Besides fixed‑output versions with VOUT of 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5V and 12V, BL1117 also offers an adjustable version. The adjustable output voltage can be set by only two external resistors.
BL1117 integrates thermal shutdown and current‑limit functions to protect the IC and power supply system. Trimming technology is adopted to guarantee 2% output voltage accuracy.
