Carefully unhook the spring from the old door
Transfer it to the new door without stretching it
Ensure the spring sits flush in its retaining channel
Track Alignment
The left‑side gear track must be aligned perfectly:
Insert the door at a slight angle
Engage the left track first
Lower the right side into place
Never force the door — misalignment causes permanent binding
Accessing the Mechanism
To replace the door, you must open the console:
Peel back the rubber feet
Remove the bottom screws
Lift off the lower shell
Remove side and rear trim plates
