Up for sale is a genuinely rare and highly collectible original antique Austro-Hungarian Empire era "Gruss aus" (Greetings from) Comic/Novelty Postcard from the famous historic spa resort town of Buziaș (Buziásfürdő), located in the Banat region (present-day Timiș County, Romania).
The front graphic design features a humorous, colorful seaside/bathhouse caricature depicting a woman sitting on the shoulders of a man wearing a red-and-white striped Edwardian bathing suit, with a wooden pier background banner elegantly bearing the handwritten German greeting: "Gruss aus Buzias". A fascinating, long historical message written in Hungarian by the sender occupies the bottom area of the art illustration.
The reverse features the bilingual "LEVELEZŐ-LAP / Postkarte" header, addressed to a lady in the nearby Banat town of Lovrin. The upper corner retains its original, authentic Austro-Hungarian circular postal cancellation handstamp distinctly dated 1899 (stamp has been cleanly removed during period handling).
