The OEM plastic housing is molded too thin in many areas leading to premature failure, and over time becomes brittle with repeated exposure to high heat. The Sólido Frio is cast from far more stable and strong aluminum! These housings also can be polished, powder coated or welded too.   Choose between WITH or WITHOUT sensor. Includes premium screw in 3/8" NPT type sensor which replaces leak prone clip in style OR 3/8 NPT Pipe plug. Has additional 1/8" NPT port for aftermarket coolant temp sensor, and an aluminum hex plug if you aren't using it now. Supplied with all stainless steel socket head cap screw mounting hardware, high grade oem temp thermostat, thermostat seal and Head flange O Ring.
