⚠️ Important: Check Your Factory Radio Before Purchase
Compatibility depends not only on the vehicle model and year, but also on the factory radio installed in the vehicle.
Please compare your factory radio with the product compatibility images before ordering.
⚠️ Some Factory Radios Require an Installation Kit
Certain original radio configurations shown in the product images can be used with the VWX7A, but an additional installation kit is required.
The installation kit is not included.
If your factory radio matches one of the versions marked “Installation Kit Needed”, please prepare the appropriate installation kit before fitting the stereo.
⚠️ Some Factory Radio Layouts Are Not Compatible
If your factory radio matches one of the versions marked “Inapplicable Models” in the product images, the VWX7A itself is not suitable for direct installation.
For those configurations, a compatible universal 2-DIN Eonon car stereo with a separate installation kit may be a more suitable option.
Please do not select the VWX7A based on vehicle year alone.
⚠️ Factory Backup Camera Retention
If your vehicle has a factory backup camera and you want to retain it after installation, the separately sold:
Eonon A501 Decoder Box
is required.
The A501 is not included.
Without the required decoder, the original factory camera may not work with the new stereo.

Compatible vehicles equipped with factory Dynaudio or Fender audio systems are supported.
This allows owners of premium factory-audio configurations to modernise the head unit while retaining supported integration with the original sound system.

The VWX7A runs Android 14 on an RK3562 quad-core processor (4 × Cortex-A53 up to 2.0GHz) with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

9" IPS HD Touchscreen
The 9" 1280 × 720 IPS touchscreen provides a larger interface for navigation, music, Android apps and supported vehicle information.
Wide viewing angles and the larger display area make everyday functions easier to see and operate.
WiFi 6 + Bluetooth 5.4
Built-in WiFi 6 supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, allowing the stereo to connect to a smartphone hotspot or another available Wi-Fi source.
Bluetooth 5.4 supports compatible phone and wireless audio connections.
Please note: Built-in 4G LTE is not included. Mobile-network access requires a compatible external 4G dongle.
Built-In GPS Navigation
The integrated GPS receiver allows compatible navigation apps to run directly on the stereo.
You can use:

Downloaded offline maps can continue to provide navigation without an active mobile-data connection.

Note: Some DRM-protected streaming content may restrict screen mirroring.
AM/FM Radio & Optional DAB+

For supported regions, DAB+ digital radio can be added with an optional compatible Eonon DAB+ module.
