Radio shows were first syndicated on reel to reel tape, later on LP stereo discs, then CD's and now digitally. Collectors can no longer get their hands on this quality material so the surviving shows that are available will keep going up and up in value. These radio shows were never intended for public use & most were destroyed or returned to the manufacturer after use, so they're very difficult to find.

"On Tour" was a one hour radio special from Media America with episodes airing between 1990 - 1992.  Presented by Aiwa, On Tour features music & interviews with artists that were touring to support their current project at that time.  Produced by Dan Neer (Neer Perfect Productions), this program was similar to "Up Close”, but with a focus on the artists current tour.  The series only featured twelve episodes in total.  Other artists featured included The Allman Brothers, Billy Joel, Heart, Bonnie Raitt, Bon Jovi, Robert Plant, Spinal Tap, Genesis, Phil Collins & Santana.

The early episodes were sent to radio in a custom jewel case with a unique back insert  made specifically for this series.  Later episodes were sent to radio in a plain cd envelope.  There is very little information available on this series, and distribution was extremely limited.  I was told that less than 50 copies of this show were sent to radio for broadcast (and who knows how many are still in existence today, over 30 + years later).  As a result - these few episodes are rarer than most other radio programs of that time.

This program features interviews with Chris & Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes to support their upcoming High as the Moon Tour and release of the 'Southern Harmony and Musical Companion' album.  This is the actual disc sent to the radio stations for airplay.  Tracks heard in this one hour program are as follows:

Remedy
Hotel Illness
Sometimes Salvation
Jealous Again
She Talks to Angels
Twice as Hard
Hard to Handle
Thorn in my Pride

I have some of the other "On Tour" titles available for sale, so if you are interested in other episodes from this series - please message me for additional information.

This is a great item, perfect for any Black Crowes fan or radio show collector.

These discs are being sold from one collector to another. No rights are given or implied.
