This is a model of the large luxury liner and troop ship RMS Aquitania from the 1st series of Triang Minic Ships.

Triang code M705 and made in the 1960s

This very fast ship carried 400,000 soldiers during both world wars including from Australia to the Dardanelles and Canadians to Scotland. She could carry 7000 soldiers in a voyage. 

Built on the Clyde at 49,000 tons  she sailed over 3million miles and carried 1.3million passengers.

Playworn  condition as shown in photos with some minor paint chips and discolouration. A heavy model and quite rare.
