I am NOT a reseller.

EVERYTHING that I sell on eBay is my own personal possession.

All of the books and magazines that I sell I bought NEW personally, for my own use.

Usually from physical bookstores, occasionally mail-order.

Thus, SOME books/magazines may have pricing labels - I AM LEAVING THEM ON!

If I wanted to dig deep enough into my record boxes, I could find receipts for every book.

I DO NOT use stock images!

Every photograph is taken by me of the actual item being sold.

SOMETIMES an errant hair or dust will appear in an image.

If there is something obvious in an image that is NOT part of the item, I will mention it.

ASSUME that any black dots are sensor dust - unless I say otherwise.

If you see something that I haven't mentioned, feel free to ask.

I will TRY to mention any cover defects that are hidden by the flat lighting.

Unless I say otherwise, the inside pages are PERFECT!

I NEVER RETOUCH MY PHOTOS!

All I do is sharpen them because I have sharpening turned off in my cameras.

ALL of the photos of books that I will be placing were taken under the exact same lighting, using the exact same camera and lens, taken from the exact same distance, using the exact same exposure.

Since I use a fixed-focal length lens I have to allow for the largest book in the framing.

Thus, smaller books will have slightly lowered resolution.

The exposure is slightly dark so that highly reflective covers don't "blow out".

Also, contrast is slightly lowered because I will not use a polarizing filter to reduce reflections - it artificially increases contrast and can shift colors.

I describe the books to the best of my ability.

I see a LOT of listings on eBay with misleading information.

I will not do that.

I will not call the seventh printing of a book a "FIRST EDITION".

I will not give the original date of publishing for a book that was printed 40 years later.

ALL books were kept in a climate-controlled NON-SMOKING environment.

I use a spare bedroom to store my books on bookshelves and in boxes.

I am the only one who enters.

The books have not been exposed to food or drink or direct sunlight.

I usually ship on Mondays and Thursdays.

I've found that shipping on Fridays and Saturdays almost invariably winds-up being SLOWER than waiting for the following Monday.

WHY?

No idea.

USPS and FedEx go through Phoenix and I've shipped packages on Fridays and Saturdays that ARE STILL in Phoenix on the following Friday! 

This doesn't seem to happen when I ship on other days.

I'm new at shipping books.

It will either be shipped USPS or FedEx - whichever seems to be most appropriate (still looking into this).
