This boonie hat is in the CADPAT (Arid Regions) digital camouflage first used by the Canadian military in 2002 and still currently in use. The manufacturer's identification tag on the interior indicates the size as 7-1/4, the manufacturing date as November of 2007, and the manufacturer as Lonix Hats. The hat features a chincord with adjustment slider, 2 ventilation grommets on either side of the crown, a band with foliage attachment loops around the bottom of the crown, 2 luminous identification strips on the rear of the foliage attachment band, and a detachable rear neck flap (stowed in a compartment on the inside of the top of the crown) that attaches via 5 small Velcro panels to the sweatband.
