- The Spaceman "Artemis Modulated Filter" is a highly versatile modulated filter that takes the concept of traditional filter pedals to the next level. Utilizing a 2-pole state-variable design, it allows for the independent adjustment of high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass filters, with the unique ability to mix them together.
- Equipped with seven modulation modes—including Envelope Up/Down and four LFO waveforms—it offers a wide range of expressive possibilities, from playing-responsive filter sweeps to cyclical oscillations. Beyond standard wah and funk-style filter sounds, specific settings can produce distinctive effects reminiscent of phasers or vibratos.
- Furthermore, the HIGH, BAND, and LOW controls allow for precise mixing of filter components, supporting up to 10dB of boost and significant attenuation. This enables sound sculpting difficult to achieve with conventional filters, such as creating a notch filter by combining high-pass and low-pass settings. With modulation turned off, it can also function as a 3-band EQ or tone shaper.
- It supports control via external expression pedals or 0–5V CV, making it suitable for a variety of instruments, including bass and synthesizers, in addition to guitar.
