Description:  This is a beautifully hand-made knotted filet lace tea or bridge size tablecloth.  It is traditionally known as Modano filet lace or darned net lace. It features geometric diamond-in-square grids interwoven with textured tufted floral rosettes and finishes with a classic scalloped picot edge. This item was made of cotton thread. Please take a look at all of the photos, the last of which is a closeup of the cotton fibers in the threads.

Condition: Excellent Vintage to Antique Condition.  I can find no holes or stains.   This item came to me clean and bright. So I have not washed it.
