Beautiful vintage mother-of-pearl brooch featuring an elegant openwork floral and leaf design. The shell has been carved and engraved to create two flowers surrounded by gracefully curved leaves and stems.

The natural mother-of-pearl displays a lovely silvery-white iridescence that changes subtly with the light.

Measures approximately 2 inches long. Please see ruler and quarter photographs for scale.

The reverse is fitted with a silver-tone pin back and locking clasp. No maker’s mark or signature was found.

Condition: Good vintage pre-owned condition with light age-related surface wear. There is visible yellow adhesive/residue around the pin mechanism on the reverse, suggesting the pin finding may have been reattached or repaired at some point. This does not detract from the appearance when worn. Please review all photographs carefully for condition.
