Over 65 grams of sterling silver , I’ve had this kicking around for years because I thought it was EP , but after a polish I noticed a full hallmark and maker is EP , I’ve put silver testing acid to underside of trophy and shows 925 purity, please see last photo.
Trophy weighs 64 grams and would imagine shield weighs 4 or 5 g .
I always knew the shield on base was silver, hallmarks are well rubbed which also shows its silver , as base metal would show through.
Silver is on the up again and today’s price £1.58 a gram from bullion by post etc on 29/8/26 .
my start price is £1 a gram.
Trophy itself is for the boys brigade first aid cup for a R Pegg  and P Sneap 1962-63 7th derby duffield corps .
