WHY COLLECTORS WANT THIS ONE

This is essentially the core orchestral Debussy complete in six sides, in Bernard Haitink's readings with the Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam. Of the sets I have listed lately this one has the strongest want ratio on Discogs.

Being straight about what it is: Philips 6768 284 is a mass-market compilation box assembled from earlier Philips issues (component numbers 6570 655, 656 and 657), released in 1981. It is not an early Philips Hi-Fi Stereo original, and it is not rare. This release exists in both US and European pressings and I have not verified where this copy was pressed, so I am not claiming a Dutch or Holland pressing - check the labels and the box in the photos.
