Fully hallmarked for W.H.L / Anchor (Birmingham) / Lion Passant (Sterling Silver) / Date Letter ‘a’ (1900).
In addition, prominently features the design registration number 298925, dating to 1897.
The bun feat are an appealing and rarer seen practical feature that allow the napkin ring to stand upright with the material or paper napkin inside.
The detailed period floral engravings to the silver, covering the outside of the napkin ring are exquisite.
