The historic electric trolley system serving Chippewa Lake, Ohio was primarily operated by the Cleveland, Southwestern & Columbus Railway (frequently referred to as the Cleveland Southwestern or CSW). From 1909 until the line's abandonment in 1931, this electric interurban railway ran direct excursions right to the edge of the historic Chippewa Lake Amusement Park. Today, while the original station and tracks are gone, the legacy of this electric trolley line is preserved immediately down the road at the Northern Ohio Railway Museum.
