WWII Imperial Japanese Postal History Hoard (84 Sheet Archive)

Up for sale is a historically intact, bulk estate-found archive of Imperial Japanese postal history sheets from the First and Second Showa Series eras (circa 1937–1944).

Archive Breakdown:

Full Sheets with Factory Serials (~70 Sheets): Features chronological serial number runs. Includes 7 Sen Navy Admiral Tōgō (serials 0492–0823) and 3 Sen Army General Nogi (serials 3362–9208).

Other Sheets & Blocks: Full sheets without serials, plus partial sheets/large blocks including the 6 Sen "Wartime Aviation/Bomber Pilot" and 1942 5 Sen Maroon Admiral Tōgō issues.

Key Attributes: Original factory bundling staples and loose protective interleaving paper. All stamp faces are un-postmarked.

Condition: Authentic, variable wartime condition. Expect edge wear, margin fraying, creases, tears, and perforation separations due to brittle 80-year-old paper. Some stamps are folded or adhered together near the edges.
