A large sized fishing reel it is made from rich mahogany wood with a large sturdy brass seat, brass and ebony handles and brass and steel fittings.

It is an unmarked reel, English make c1890s, very attractive with the star back design, this reel has full brass checks.

Attractive as a display piece or as a gift for the fishing enthusiast.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some signs of use and wear commensurate with age, a couple of small dings, scratches and knocks to the wood, a nice strong antique reel, may need some attention to get spick and span.
