𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝟭𝟵𝟮𝟴 𝗦𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗧 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢

Original vintage photograph from 1928 showing a young Soviet girl with 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗜𝗥 in an informal domestic setting.

Unlike a formal studio portrait, this is an attractive 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗗 / 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗛. The girl is reclining comfortably on a patterned sofa while looking through what appears to be a 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗟𝗕𝗨𝗠.

Her hair is arranged into 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗦, which fall across the front of her clothing and remain a prominent feature of the image.

The relaxed domestic composition provides an interesting glimpse into everyday Soviet life during the late 1920s and is particularly appealing for collectors of 𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗛𝗬, historical hairstyles, candid photography and 1920s social history.

The reverse retains a faint period handwritten notation including the date 𝟭𝟵𝟮𝟴, together with a purple ink stamp.
